Objectively, by benchmarks, yes. Subjectively, very little in the real
world. Graphics and disk speeds are virtually the same. The 1 mb Vram in the
2400c is anemic and constrains its apparent speed. You would see differences
in CPU intensive tasks such as VPC, CAD or Photoshop.
But (related to my recent post on upgrades), even if you could find a
400mhz, buy Apple's G4-400 at the same $1299. Or buy a used or refurbished
DV-400 iMac plus a 2400c for $1299-1399. It's still no contest--especially
since a 400mhz today might run higher, if it could be found at all.
