I ripped Patricia Barber's "Modern Cool" into iTunes MP3 files before even listening
to it "native mode." And last nite on the plane it sounded so wonderful that I'm
thinking to stop carrying my little Discman & wallet full of CD's. [Thanks in part
to those wonderful noise-cancelling headphones.]
All well & good. But how would listas suggest that I best connect my 'book to a
little audio system that has "line" inputs? Headphone outputs are a weak spot in
most audio chains, adding noise, hum & distortion. Are there any PC Cards that'd
work without CardBus support?
