Try pulling / reinserting (emphatically) the battery repeatedly (as if to
tickle the connection) with AC in. This as worked with my PB3400/3500 in the
past when I used to travel with that arm breaker underway in a car. The same
problem arose when the DC car charger (Lind) would shake loose from the
cigarette lighter socket, (often) just losing contact. That was probably
enough to occasionally corrupt the battery's power manager. However if all 3
of your batteries have this problem then it's probably something else.

Quite possibly--wouldn't hurt to try as you'll need one anyway.

You should contact Paul Vail on this--After Hours (see Mac2400 for his
contact). He's quite experienced on the matter of fuses and custom 2400
repairs. There are likely more than one fuse. Usually ADB has its own.

Yes there is and it has capacitors which will store a charge for a while.

Not necessarily. If DT&T just worked on it, they should rectify this problem
if it arose right after return to you.

You said it...Murphy's Law!
