I have an Apple drive that will never boot my PB2400, but my LaCie 32x CDRW
works most of the time.
I am a great believer in SCSI Voodoo. Here is my liturgy. It sounds silly
but, seriously, it works for me, about 80% of the time, which I believe is
way ahead of competitive rituals.
Put CD in drive.
Turn CDROM and PB2400 off.
Connect SCSI cable.
Turn on CDROM power while you look at a clock.
Wait 12 seconds.
Turn PB2400 on by tapping the power key and immediately releasing it.
Wait 2 seconds.
Hold down C key.
Good luck,
Jerry
