Hello, I'm quite new to the list, and I'd never really had much problem with my 2400 until this morning. It's dead. I was using it with an external modem, a Global Village Teleport, and the computer crashed.. so I restarted, and then after trying to reboot, the screen went blank. Then nothing. It was still running, or at least it sounded like it was. I then tried to restart again, but it wouldn't respond, and since it was running on battery power, I just pulled the battery. I wasn't able to get it to even power up with it plugged in.. just would get a click. Now, I'm thinking that this might have something to do with plugging in a powered up modem into a sleeping 2400, but I don't know. I've done it before and never had problems. I guess maybe my luck ran out. If this is the case, then what do I do, and if this isn't the case, what do I do? Thanks in advance for any help or advice, and please forgive me if this has already been discussed. I haven't had a chance to go through the archives. BTW, I am running on OS 8.6.
