I recently bought a batch of older PowerBook's from a NW defense contractor, in the lot was a 2400c and a docking station. I've never paid much attention to that model.
Instantly I was in love with the size of the little creature and the 180 speed seems adequate for a lot of uses. By the time I get a fairly sizeable HD, upgrade the RAM, find replacement parts fo the damaged plastics, and then have a guru put it all together, I am going to have a fair amount of cash in the little bugger. At what point does all of this stop making any sense? If the battery is bad, I can see spending $6 or 700 altogether, which does not seem to make any sense. Double that and I can get a new iBook.
