New to the list so I hope that this is the proper place to send this. I have a duo 280c with 24mb and ram doubler. I am currently running OS 8.1. Have noticed some discussion on the list as to the best OS for this machine. Are there any advantages with sticking with 8.1 or are there any reasons why one would want to drop down/sideways to 7.5 for example. In addition, I don't know if this is the proper vehicle for this so let me know if I am out of line, I have a spare, working duo 280c. I am parting it out as it has a busted stiffening frame and the left back foot is broken off. It includes a 14.4 modem, 20 mb ram chip, 320 hd, main board, etc. etc. All work fine and the screen is in great shape. I would sell it all together but most people are concerned about the frame/foot. If you have the parts, you'll have a perfectly good machine. If not, I'll sell it in pieces. Anyone interested? Please respond to my questions by way of the list and to the 280c for sale by way of my e-mail address so as to not plug up the list. Thanks.
