Hello DuoGeeks, I'm new here; I've had a Duo 230 for years and I recently decided to get it working again. I'm a musician and I want to make it into my lo-fi live machine (my main computer being a Powerbook G4) with software such as B2B from reinformation.com.
Anyway my first problem is that the battery is dead and the AC adaptor has disappeared. The last time I enquired about 'clone' batteries, the price discouraged me. So what I'm looking for is a simple AC adapter. I saw old-school Powerbook adapters at a thrift store today, but didn't buy them because they were 7.5V. I thought all Powerbook adapters were 24V. Maybe I misread? Can someone clear this up for me??? Thanks! Gabriel. ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
