I got my Duo 280 and it works ok. The keyboard is really stiff, but its the
same as my 1400's kb was when I first got it (from extended non-use) and it
(the 1400) works just fine now. The only significant problems with it are:

1.) Will not restart or shut down from the special menu or power button.
The popup asking me what I want to do from the power button will come up and
I can select whichever I want, but if its not sleep or cancel, the machine
freezes. I can shut it down from the reset button and I can put it to sleep,
so I imagine this is a software problem. If not, id like to know how to
rectify this problem

2.) the screen corners start to go black progressively the longer I keep the
machine on. At first I thought the screen was being burned, but if I let it
sit for a while, the problem goes away and the screen works just as good as
ever. But after 20 or so minutes, the edges start to go black again and I
have to let it cool down. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Is it
a result of some loose connection or do I need to replace the lcd panel?
