After picking up a replacement Duo 280c to replace the last one that started
having problem, I tried to fire up my Duo Dock Plus but it just doesn't want
to work. The startup chime does come but the monitor never comes on and the
Duo's hard drive never spins up. I tried plugging my older Duo 280 and it
wouldn't boot up in the Dock either. I even plugged in the mortherboard of
Duo 230 to test it and the dock still wouldn't get going.

Do I have a dead dock or what? The power supply is not ticking like a timb
bomb, and the monitor is good. The motorized loading and ejection is fully
functional, and I do hear the chime (from all 3 Duos) but nothing else
happens. If so, anyone got a spare dock mobo? Any kind will be find as I
don't need the FPU and I do have a few VRAM SIMMs for the original Dock
mobo.

In the meanwhile, I have a 14.4K modem, 19.2K modem, 20MB memory module and
120MB SCSI hard drive that were all working when taken out of my older Duo
to get rid of. I probably have another HD and another memory module from
the 230 somewhere.
