If you tried to access an HFS+ partitions using older pre OS 8.1, all you'd
see is a locked hard drive with one single text file
'Where_has_all_my_file_gone?' or something like that.  I run into that quite
often because I kept forgettingt which external HD I have was formatted with
HFS+ and one of my Duo doesn't have OS 8.1

I have no idea why the LC would give that error message.  The only think I
could think of is a 3rd party partition software used on 1400cs is
conflicting with LC or the partition on the 1400cs is about to fail.
