Hello All!

I have been lurking on this list for a long time (thanks!) and I know
that this topic has been covered many times before (maybe even for me!).
Anyway, I have a 2300 and an Asante MINI EN/SC ethernet adapter. I am
running OS 8.6 on the Duo. I have the asante driver installed and
enabled. The duo does not see the enet adapter; it does not even give me
the option to use ethernet as a connection method in either the
Appletalk control panel or TCP/IP control panel.

Any thoughts?

I seem to remember reading long ago that there was some type of
compatibility issue with the SCSI in the powerPC duo and these types of
adapters.

Does anyone else out there use this setup successfully to connect to an
ethernet network? Is this a lost cause?

Any input would be much appreciated!

Mike
