<Replacing it is easy, it's finding a replacement 4/5 A battery that's hard.
Yes, a single A and not the AA or any variants.  (Type 1 does use AA though)>

It looks like a cost of $30 per bank of ten cells. That would be a cost of
about $15 per hour to run the rig, unless my figures are wrong.

Are any rechargeable cells available in that size. If so, where could they
be bought?

Is there a discussion like this somewhere in the archives. If so, could
someone give me a path to follow?
