The pedals are slightly offset from "US Standard."  Some folks had a problem 
with hitting the gas instead of the brake.  The dividing point was that the 
manual transmission models never had that problem....tho the other components 
were identical.  My Saab was like that....first time folks would drive it, 
many had to look for the pedals!  I prefer to shift for myself, 
tho......instead of being shiftless (i.e. automatic tranny).  However, I live 
in the countryside of North Carolina, not in grid-locked LA (Brandy, my dear, 
you may keep LA....I don't even like visiting anymore!!).  

Heh...and pondering the supposed auto-acceleration....can you imagine an auto 
control system based on Windoze?  Totally new meaning to the word, "crash."
