<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2078241718> <Blush> Actually, there _ARE_ eBay vendors willing to guarantee their Duo batts . . . </Blush> I have none for sale at the moment, but soon, soon . . . An inexpensive source for cells when rebuilding is NiMH camcorder packs. I've found these cheaper than the cells inside would cost, if purchased as individual cells. Look for NiMH 12v packs with a rating around 2000mah or 6v packs @ ~4000mah. Cut 'em open and you'll find a bunch of (usually) AA size tabbed cells. I bought a *new* 4500mah 6v pack for ~US$15, inside were 10 2250mah cells, 8 of which which ended up inside a PB500 series battery. Also, stop by your local R/C hobby center, NiMH 9.6v 2000mah packs consisting of 8 tabbed AA cells sell for ~US$22-25 around here. Since a 12v Duo pack needs 10 cells you'd need two packs though. Perhaps 12v R/C packs (10 cell) are available . . . ? hth, Dan K ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
