And on the subject of memory, here's my .02 - I saw a retailer on eBay
selling 96 MB chips for the PB2400 for $50.00, about $300.00 less than
MacImports. It sounded good but I had a *horrible* experience with cheap
memory on my G4 Quicksilver and I didn't feel that it was worth the risk.

Not to discount Mr. Kolps .02 cents, but it is my impression that this is NOT cheap memory, but a stash of original memory that someone stumbled on and is selling for what the market will bear. Since the customer base for this particular DIMM is infinitesimally small, I can't imagine that anyone took the time to fabricate this very specialized (only for the PB 2400c) memory to make a quick buck. But, I could be wrong.

I received mine the other day and the PB is boxed up, ready to be shipped up the Freeway to Kevin at MCE for installation, along with a replacement HD and new PRAM battery.

To Andy Nicholl -my British Ally. . having recently dealt with this particular Vendor, I don't think you are going to have any luck with him shipping outside the US. He seemed pretty adamant about not doing that.

If you have a problem with him dealing with International shipping . .I will buy one for you and trans ship it from my place. I am just down the Freeway from this guy and have a pretty good discount on FedEx

I can't quote you a price on what it will cost from here to Britannia -BUT- I recently sent my daughter, who was visiting in London, a 3 pound small FedEx Box, which cost $14 US. . I would be happy to buy it and ship to you. If you provide me your full physical delivery address and phone # (private E-mail, off-line) I will quote you what the rate will be, directly from the FedEx site. I will also call it a gift which should keep those nasty, foul, Left-Wing Socialists from taxing it.
