Thanks Mad Dog for your suggestion. We tried that and found the PB3400/G3 modem extension was checked in the extension manager. And the modem still doesn't work. The ethernet connection works wonderfully, but a dialup modem connection through the rear internal connection still gets "cannot find dialtone" message. By the way a Global Village modem PCMCIA card worked fine. He just doesn't want to use a slot in that way. Any other ideas?
