Only applicable to Ni-Cad/Ni-MH is my understanding. The Li-ions don't suffer from memory effect and also have a pretty sophisticated controller in the battery to make it all work.
Basically, just put the battery in and then ran the Graphing Calculator Demo until the PB generated the 'going to sleep' warning.
Does Battery Amnesia work on a 2400 ?

I think all Battery Amnesia does is max out the drain on the battery so you can get a worst case battery time. Never tried it with Li-ions though.
