Updating to 9.1 from 8.6 was a breeze, and I'm very pleased with the results so far. The machine runs its software set beautifully, plays well with its wireless LANmates, and so on. Airport 1.3.1 is still less than excellent though, and I wonder whether anyone has:

1. tried manually installing the parts to Airport 2.0.4 into 9.1.

2. updated to Mac OS 9.2.x which is more amenable to 2.0.4.

Now 9.2.x gobbles up even more RAM than 9.1, right?
