Also correct -- if you have a 2300 (or any of the other Duos with color 
screens), you will need either the Duo Dock Plus or Duo Dock II.

Apple did offer a lid replacement upgrade for the original Duo Dock so 
that it could work with the color Duos, but these are not very common, so 
it makes sense to focus on the II or the Plus. Also, the original Duo 
Docks did not have Ethernet capabilities (unless they were upgraded with 
a NuBus expansion card).
