I get a red X over the battery icon on my 2400 and Mad Dog suggested
it might be a blown battery fuse ($1). I like this a lot more than
than Brian's suggestion that the charging circuit has gone ($lots).
Can anyone send a screenshot or pdf showing location of fuse? I
don't think it come sup on the standard "take apart" insttructions
in the manual. Is it hard wired or clipped in?

I dont have a pic, but its near the battery prongs. Its about 5 mm
long and 1-2mm wide. Its the biggest fuse on there. Typically white
with silver ends.
To remove it, I usually have to remove the battery prongs first. I
use Chip Quick.
