I have the same gripe, but consider that to be a lesser evil than the clicker thingamajigie which always releases three letters shy of a complete click-drag selection.

But seriously, when Apple trackpads first came out, I recall that there was some kind of system extension or control panel (other than the one we have now. . .) that could adjust it's sensitivity somehow. This was several years ago, anyone else remember that?

Remedy?

Just stop doing it. <g>
