No, not built-in (there's no room). That's why the dock implementation. The 680LC40 was permanently FPU disabled and cannot use an FPU even if you had one. I'd be really surprised to learn you had an FPU built-into your Duo, what information source is confirming that you have an onboard FPU?

Sorry, that doesn't apply.  That technology allows a 68881 or 68882 to add
FP math functions to the 68030's repertoire.  It's not designed to allow a
new CPU to completely take over from the 68030.

I believe the 68030 already has an FPU (at least my 270c does). I thought
the Dock FPU was for the 280 series with 68LC040's (which lack an FPU).
