On the subject of audio, I'd like to take an informal poll and see how many
of us are musicians, producers, etc. and are using the 2400 for our work. I
am curious to know what hardware/software setups are being used and problems
and solutions have been discovered.

I bought the 2400 primarily to do live work with a musical duo with backing
sequences using Vision 3.5.6. I'm still in the process of putting together
my sequences and rehearsing but would like to use the 2400 to produce a
demo. It wasn't till well after I bought it that I discovered the inherent
noise from the audio out. Any solutions or workarounds out there? I have
dumped some stuff from DAT onto the machine and back out onto tape without
noticing the squawking that I hear when hooking it up to some speakers or
headphones.

Any thoughts, ideas or comments from anyone are greatly appreciated.

Andy
