until yesterday, I had only seen or been around color Duo machines. Small, attractive and handy. A client asked me to upgrade the ram in a 230 and when I picked it up, I was shocked! The screen is so THIN!!! Amazingly thin! I guess that the color screens are really stacked layers of color films and hence, thicker out of necessity. Anyway, I am really impressed with the "thin-ness" of the B&W Duo screen. Has there been anything thinner in a more recent model? Now I know why it's make a great "picture" hung computer... P.s. My Duo 280c screen seems a little muted in the color contrasts. They are richest if I tilt the screen back at an obtuse angle. Is there any sort of Contrast adjustment I can make?? ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
