Cell Phones make *lousy* modems. Been there, done that, paid the bills.
>Does anyone have any recommendations about this?
*Run* and buy a Ricochet right now. I have been using them on and off
since 1996 and I love them. You can not beat their flat rate price
for an always-on connection.
I have and SX modem for my 2400 and Newton. If I were buying today
I'd get an SE though since they will supposedly work with the 128k
network they are rolling out.
If you are in the Seattle area I'd be more than willing to let you
try it out before you buy. Just let me know.
