Yeah, that's one of them.  Most "open source" software for Linux will
compile with no problems on all architectures.  Proprietary stuff like
WordPerfect that comes pre-compiled tends to be available for i386
only.  Because Intel architecture makes up some ungodly percentage of
Linux installs, and an even larger percetage of *desktop* installs,
most companies overlook other architectures.  However, the LinuxPPC
Inc. people seem to be making deals to get major game titles for Linux
also released for PPC.
