Here is another solution:
I do not have Energy Saver control panel installed. I am running OS 8.1
on my PB2400c. When I want to "go" with my powerbook, I close the
screen, wait 5 seconds for it to start sleeping (blinking), then pull
Appletalk from the serial port. No dialogs!!
