It may be a bit late to say this as your message was posted a couple of 
days ago, but Wannabe is superb if you don't need graphics. It's light - 
if you put it on a floppy and shake it, you can hear it rattling - and 
FAST. The application loads almost instantly. No graphics, just text and 
downloads. And the text is, of course, drag and drop, command + A and 
wipe it onto the desktop. I was writing an article last week and it was 
so convenient to be able to pick data off the net as fast as opening a 
reference book.

For email, I don't think there is anything to touch Claris Emailer. I've 
tried a ton of email programs and Emailer comes out way on top.
