I got my CPU stiffener from the PowerBookGuy.com. You can try him too for
the ribbon cable. Unfortunately, that is like the hardest part to find for
the Duo and it ain't cheap. The mount may be un-repairable. In either case,
you are in for a major repair between the two. The entire unit will have to
be dismantled.
Yeah, I've found the CPU stiffener to be quite brittle. I think heat may
also add to its deterioration.
