Let me get this straight. Under 8.6 the internal GV modem software will no
longer work? I don't remember reading this in the known incompatibilities notes
(which is a big omission since that is the only other modem available for the
Duo and not such a big test to do when you're testing modem software
compatibility on a single computer model).
Up to what OS version was the GV software working, 8.5.1? Somehow I doubt GV
will update that software just for the 2300 (which is the only Duo after OS 8.1
that can run it).
So other fax software will work with the modem? How about Apple's fax software?
