I do not have any experience with the Newer upgrade, but what has been covered here on the list before about the two... * The Vimage runs *much* cooler, than the Newer, and even cooler than the original 603e CPU.. this is due to the use of copper over aluminum in the manufacture of the chip. * Battery life is better with the Vimage.
