I have this problem and just ordered a replacement power supply. I have no fear of soldering (in fact I successfully clock chipped my IIsi) and the Radio Shack is just up the street. Does anyone know of a diagram or photo of the inside of the power supply showing where the capacitor is located? I might as well fix my old one so I'll have a spare.
