I am a long time owner of a Duo 230 and really need to upgrade to a PowerPC machine. I
have heard lots of people rave about their 2400's on this list, and have also heard
rumours that they are going to be available again soon (refurbished?) I also
understand that they can be upgraded to a fast G3.

so. . .

Any opinions on the pros and cons of trying to pick up one of these 2400's w. upgrade
card vs getting an iBook. I'm intrigued by the notion of wireless internet access on
the iBookmy kids can share the cable modem through wireless ethernet from anywhere in
the house. This feature, along with a pretty fast G3, extended battery life, a full
size keyboard and a fairly big screen would seem to be the iBooks main attractions.
How about the 2400?

I've never seen one, as they weren't sold here in Canada. I assume they are nice and
small (and light) like my Duo. What else can the 2400 fans out there tell me about
this machine to help me make this decision?

thanks for your help.
