Hi all! Well, my 2400 finally stopped starting (again), so I packed it up and sent it to DT&T. I am thinking I should get them to put in some more RAM while its there, since I just have the original 16 megs. Does it matter what brand I get? And are there other considerations I should be aware of? (besides how much I want to increase it by) Also, if they have to replace the motherboard, does that mean replacing the processor too? I haven't really seriously considered a G3 upgrade because I use my Mac right on my lap and sometimes it is already uncomfortably hot. But if they replace my motherboard with one just like the one I have now, how do I know that one won't conk out too after a year and a half? Thanks in advance for any feedback. :-) Corina ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
