This isn't true. I don't know about an upgraded duo 250, but on a normal
2300c you can't use batteries from older Duos. I have a 2300c now and have
not been able to use any of my batteries from my 230 (including a Type IV
battery from BTI). I think the 2300c requires a higher voltage than the
230. I believe the 250 used the same type of batteries as the 230, but I
don't know if the motherboard upgrade would have changed that. The 2300c
also uses the same batteries as the 280 (which also can't take a battery
from a 230/250).
