I have the dayna card - and when I upgraded to MacOS 8.6, I could no longer
get reasonable transfer rates over Appletalk - TCP/IP worked a little better,
but you had to be on a network to have that work. Since Dayna no longer
exists, and there is no updated software - there's nothing that can be done
about this problem. I suggest you pick up a new ethernet card - I got an
Asante FriendlyNet card - or if you can figure out if your 2400 supports
cardbus, get a 10/100 card instead.
