Marc,
Thank you very much for the informed analysis. I have been considering
buying an ethernet card and a modem card for quite some time but for
different reasons: I have a 486 laptop on which I want to install Linux and
wanted cards that I could use on my Mac laptop and on my Linux laptop.
Therefore I ask whether anybody knows of PCMCIA modem and ethernet cards
(separate products, not combos) that run well on the 2400 with OS 9.0, but
also run on Intel machines (I will worry about Linux compatibility later,
right now I am more concerned with OS 9.0 and 2400 compatibility)?
Thank you,
ZP
