Gripes Ian, I could have upgraded for free just using your pass-down
processor cards. ;-)
Well, I got my PB back from Arnie and it works great as expected. They
ended up replacing the daughtercard. Just wish the timing had been better
since I had to go with the Newer G3 since he didn't have Vimage/Interware
G3s in stock(or Ian's old one). Though Arnie pretty much overcame my bias
against the Newer and it's temperature issues...only time will tell.
What's really slick is the MCE Datashuttle, a portable container for my old
IDE drive. Small package, PC card interface, power brick not required, but
included. Great little secondary storage package which I think would be
very useful if you are archiving digital photos while in the field.
Now I just need to spend the rest of the day filling up my new 10GB drive,
imaging CD based games mostly. ;-)
