Just a quick note to say thanks to the list - I now know how to clean my own
ball! I didn't give it a go before because I had been categorically told by
TWO Mac repair shops here in London (the second one I paid to do the job)
that you had to dismantle the book to get at the ball. Sheesh!

Brandy, with a sense of humour like that, you really should be British dear
(perhaps you are) ;)

Anyway, whilst we're on the subject of cleaning, just another small
technical question: how do you clean up the icons on the Duo's desktop?
They're so dirty that sometimes I can't tell a Word document from a folder.
Trust Apple to stick that difficult to remove Perspex panel in front of
them! Are there any special solutions to use - I wouldn't want to fade those
glorious 256 colours. Hmmm... perhaps I should take it back to the kind
chappie who cleaned my ball for me....
