Having just obtained Apple's proprietary external floppy drive (used)
for my PB 2400C, I was extremely excited to plug it in and play this
evening. Unfortunately, any disk (regardless of whether or not it's
been initialized) inserted into the drive results in a prompt to format
the disk. However, even if I choose "initialize," the process never
runs to completion and a "failure" message appears. I'm running OS 8 w/
32mb RAM. Any ideas, anyone? TIA.

Joe
