I spins up and the 2400c powers it up on it's own. Internally and with the
PCMCIA 2.5" Enclosure.

>Does the drive even spin up? I have heard that the 2400 doesn't put out
>enough power to spin up some Toshiba drives.

>> First I installed System 8.6 thru the PCMCIA 2.5" Enclosure onto a new
>> MK1011GAV Toshiba IDE HD. Then I installed the HD in my 2400c. When I plug
>> the power cord in I get tone and then a blank screen. Reset switch turns it
>> off and on after that but no tone. When I put the old 1.3gig back in,
>> unpluging the backup battery & plugging it back in everything boots up just
>> fine. Then I can mount the Toshiba thru the PCMCIA 2.5" Enclosure.
>>
>> Anyone have any ideas?
