Greetings-
Has anyone gotten an external modem to work consistently with a 2300? I've
stumbled around and loaded the telecom software (from the 8.0 install CD) to
finally get the internal modem to work but 14400 doesn't cut it. In using an
external modem it allows me to log in (using AOL) and read mail but when I
try to pull up a web page AOL cuts out about half way thru loading the page
and says the host is not responding. Doesn't matter whether in or out of the
dock I get the same result. I know there has to be a way to use an external
modem reliably with a 2300 but it is eluding me. I would truly appreciate
some help for I find the 2300 close to useless if it can't be used portably
to access the WWW. Any reponses would be greatly appreciated...
