Hello, I'm a new list member and new owner of a 280c, which I really like. However, a reasonably priced 2300c has just come on the market, and I'm tempted to make the tradeup for the obvious reasons of processor, HD, display, etc. The main thing holding me back is the trackpad; I much prefer the action of the trackball. This computer is really just for email and word processing on the road (another reason to prefer the trackball, I think).
