Most excellent listers, I have been afflicted with the dreaded power supply tick. Luckily, I had two other docks to pilfer. I have taken the ticker out and purchased the appropriate capacitor (part# 272-1028 @ Radio Shack). I wanted to see diagrams and pictures before starting the process. I went to the Cleary site (http://zimmer.csufresno.edu/~cleary/computers/duo.html) and the UK site (http://www.argonet.co.uk/users/sabell/repin.html#ticking) but neither are accessible anymore. I would appreciate an address that would allow me to point my browser toward pictures and diagrams that would help. TIA I also had a rough experience trying to link Nav 4.08 and Eudora Pro via Internet Config 1.4 (later versions don't support 7.6.1). I had a terrible system crash and am still trying to sort everything out. One residual effect is that the Modem CP now shows two modem ports and a printer port. I have trashed preferences, done a clean install of Nav 4.08, run diagnostics up the wazzo, created a clean directory with DiskWarrior but it persists. Any ideas about how to resolve this. I am fairly sure it continues to cause system instability. Again, TIA Bill Qui docet discit (The one who teaches learns.) ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
