Hi everybody!

After searching around for some time I finally purchased my first Duo
this morning: a beautiful 2300c.

I've been playing around with it all day long when I finally decided to
put it in the dock.

But:

The Dock only makes fast clicking noises after being plugged in the wall
outlet and doesn't accept the duo at all (no motor inject). A connected
14" display also stays black. (The Duo's PDS lid IS open.)

I've noticed a distortion signal on my TV set at the same pace/rythm of
the clicking noises from the dock. I've checked several wall outlets,
but the clicking sound stays. So my guess is this would be a power
supply failure(?).

In the morning when I bought the Dock, it was working perfectly. The
only change in setup compared to the previous owner's is that there's no
external Geoport ISDN-Modem connected anymore.

It's a DuoDockII whithout HD or NuBus-Cards. The Duo is a 2300c/36/1,1.

Any other guesses?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
