Thanks for the input, Jim. I spent a little time last night trying to
find an older copy of this (for 68k) with no luck. I used to have a copy,
but hadn't used it in so long I didn't keep it. Kind of wish that I had.
I sort of went through this whole process once before with a different
Mac, so was familiar with the shareware choices. I'm not opposed to
buying a commercial release, but I'm still in the experimentation phase
and haven't been doing MIDI work for a long time anyway; ideally I want a
decent player, not a full-featured sequencer. I installed MIDIgraphy last
night and so far it has not frozen.
I wonder why MIDI file players are so prone to freezing up? I have NEVER
had this type of problem with anything else. Could it be the lack of FPU
in the 68LC040 (just a thought)?
