Anyone know how to set the Desktop Folder to the same sharing settings as
the "enclosing folder", namely the start-up volume and other volumes?

I'm trying to reset a server for read/write accessess for "Everyone" to
every folder. The only why I've found to give access to folders on the
Desktop is to "Copy these priveledges to all enclosed folders" from the
Sharing Info for the volumes. This puts in place sharing preferences for
every subfolder on the volumes, which means any change takes must be copied
to all enclosed folders and takes quite some time, when what I want is for
every folder to use the sharing preferences set for the volume.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to select the Desktop Folder to set
Sharing Info to "Use enclosing folder's settings".
