Hi all,

I bought my wonderful PB2400c last year from Steve Auer, a frequent contributor
here. I bought the 60 MB RAM chip on eBay several months ago for a really good
price. I have been waiting to have it installed until I could find one of those
rare 240Mhz/1MB Backside, which I just purchased on eBay a few days ago. The
unit goes to MCE in a few days for the install.

For those wanting to buy one, I recommend eBay. For those trying to sell them
for $1200, you are expecting WAY too much, unless it is upgraded with max RAM
and the CPU upgrade, or you are throwing in a CD player or lots of extra
stuff. Buyers can find one on eBay quite often for less than $1000, for the
base 180Mhz/16MB model.

You need to do a Search in:
Search only Hardware:Macintosh

Using 2400 and/or pb2400c and/or 2400c

These PowerBooks are pretty rare, compared to other models, but the ARE
available. My friend, the guy whom I bought the NewerTech 240Mhz just sold his
base model for $970 on eBay, so . . $1200 is WAY out of line, unless you run
into an unwitting buyer.
