How many of you out there with 2400s want a Vimage 320-MHz G3 upgrade?
And how many of you have been turned off by the ridiculous price - $1100
in the US? Actually, I don't even care whether it's a Vimage or Newer, or
something else - I just want a nice, zippy, low-power copper G3
(preferably with 1MB of cache).

But there is a great demand for these things, and Vimage/Interware is the
only one who makes them right now. As long as they're still out there, we
need to do something.

I am asking everyone that is interested to email
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and let them know that you would be much more
likely to buy a G3 upgrade for your 2400 if they were priced at something
reasonable, say $500? I don't care whether they start selling the
upgrades themselves again, or whether they lower the OEM cost. In fact,
email [EMAIL PROTECTED], too, and let them know that they shouldn't
throw away their engineering time already invested in 2400 upgrades.

Maybe I'm being overly hopeful, but if Vimage or Newer sees the demand
they _could_ get, they just might respond. Am I crazy?
